We will provide you with environmental and ecological advice and practical support to help deliver your development project successfully. If required we will undertake a protected species survey to ensure that you comply with current legislation and advise on mitigation and the need for species licensing.
HOW WE CAN HELP
We specialise in supporting developers by providing practical mitigation advice during construction on small and large scale developments. By undertaking appropriate protected species surveys ahead of works we will ensure that there are no barriers to delivering your project.
We work closely with the licensing agencies and negotiate with them to find practical cost effective solutions. In addition, we can ensure compliance by contractors and sub-contractors on the ground with any licensing or planning conditions that may be applied by for example SNH, SEPA or the Planning Authority.
Small Scale Developments
Building plots, building conversions and extensions, woodland felling and thinning, small scale renewables.
Large Scale Developments
Windfarms, overhead power- lines, large scale hydro-schemes, underground cable routes, bridge construction, housing developments, road widening or construction
As Environmental Clerk of works we work closely with people on site to ensure that legal obligations are met in terms of wildlife legislation, environmental good practice or planning conditions. We can undertake water quality monitoring and auditing. Whilst on site we provide direct support to site personnel through Toll Box talks raising awareness of environmental issues.
We have provided environmental advice and support for a wide range of projects from the domestic to the corporate from house or steading conversion to the construction of large windfarm or electrical substations. These are some examples that will give you an idea of how we might be able to assist with your project.
